Community / Social Media Manager on Reddit (with Experience in Mobile Gaming)

Who are we?

Hi there! We are PER:FORM, an international communications agency founded by ex-Microsoft employees. We are currently looking for a Community / Social Media Manager on Reddit (with Experience in Mobile Gaming) to support an international gaming project by building a strong community presence, driving organic discussions, and executing strategic outreach.

What you’ll do

• Conduct regular monitoring of Reddit and to identify relevant threads, track trends, memes, and emerging opinion leaders.
• Develop content plans and maintain a steady publication cadence.
• Write helpful, non-promotional comments for external discussions while strictly following Reddit’s community rules and specific subreddit cultures.
• Manage client’s social accounts and ensure overall account safety and compliance.
• Develop and run engaging community initiatives like polls and comment threads.
• Work alongside the GEO/SEO specialist to ensure community discussions support broader organic visibility and search indexing goals.

What you’ll bring

• 2+ years of experience in Community / Social Media Management.
• Excellent at English copywriting, including the ability to write naturally on a native level and adapt your tone of voice to brand guidelines and platform specifics.
• Understanding of Reddit as a platform, its basic mechanics, culture, and typical communication styles, including what is karma, engagement rates, CTR.
• Experience of working in mobile gaming, showing a knowledge of online gaming culture.
• Decent account management skills, project-management experience with strong attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of other social media platforms (considered as a plus).
