Summary
TrueLabel is seeking an HR People Partner to act as a trusted advisor to leaders and teams, helping scale people practices while maintaining speed, culture, and performance standards. This hands-on role combines advisory work, operational ownership, and data-informed decision-making to drive team health, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
What you'll do
- Partner with business leaders on org design, team effectiveness, engagement, retention, and culture
- Support performance management cycles: goal setting, feedback routines, reviews, and improvement plans
- Coach managers on leadership skills including communication, delegation, motivation, conflict resolution, and team development
- Own key employee lifecycle touchpoints: onboarding, probation success, internal mobility, and offboarding insights
- Lead employee relations processes: sensitive conversations, conflict mediation, and investigations when required
- Identify early people risks such as burnout, disengagement, and attrition; implement preventive actions
- Translate People strategy into practical, team-level initiatives with clear adoption and accountability
- Use data from pulse surveys, retention metrics, and performance insights to drive recommendations and decisions
- Collaborate with HR Ops, Talent Acquisition, and managers to ensure smooth end-to-end People processes
- Build scalable frameworks, manager toolkits, and structured practices as the company grows
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as People Partner, HRBP, or People Ops in a scaling environment (tech/product preferred)
- Strong coaching skills and ability to influence without formal authority
- Solid understanding of performance management, employee relations, and organizational development fundamentals
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and building structure where it doesn't yet exist
- Data-informed mindset and confidence interpreting metrics
- High emotional intelligence, confidentiality, and strong communication skills
- English proficiency (written and spoken)
