Health Educator (Remote in FL)

Molina Healthcare is seeking a Health Educator to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of Health Plan Health Education programs. The role focuses on creating and updating education and disease management materials, engaging members, and supporting quality improvement standards through data collection, reporting, and monitoring.

• Develop, implement, maintain, and manage Molina Healthcare Health Education programs under the direction of the Manager, Health Education.
• Research, develop, and implement health education and disease management materials in collaboration with Molina Communications and Quality Improvement (QI) staff.
• Identify health education program needs based on member needs and QI initiatives.
• Recommend materials for translation and facilitate related work when approved.
• Review and update materials and programs (e.g., preventive care guidelines, incentive packets, plan website content, and provider communications).
• Engage members in health promotion through direct member calls.
• Coordinate member support from call tracking and Health Education voicemail, connecting members to appropriate programs and resources.
• Represent QI at external activities and work group meetings as assigned (e.g., Immunization, EPSDT, Chronic Condition Collaborative).
• Collaborate with grant recipients and state/local entities supporting member health initiatives (e.g., STEPS, WISE Grant, Healthy People-Healthy Communities).
• Participate in QI planning and project work to support QI goals (e.g., HEDIS activities, strategic planning, special projects).
• Maintain flexibility and a positive outlook in response to change.

• Associate degree in a health-related area or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Health Education.
• Adaptability and flexibility; responsiveness to new ideas and approaches.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Health Education, Health Promotion, or Public Health.
• Managed care experience.
• Knowledge of the Medicaid population.

• Location: Remote (Florida).

• Compensation: Pay range $19.84 - $38.69 hourly (actual compensation may vary by location, experience, education, and skill level).
