Global Logistics Manager (U.S. Based)
Summary
Evolution Industries is seeking a U.S.-based Global Logistics Manager to take full ownership of end-to-end international logistics for a fast-growing building materials business. The role is focused on building scalable logistics systems, improving cost/speed/visibility, and ensuring reliable delivery from overseas manufacturing through U.S. customs to customer sites.
What you'll do
Own global logistics operations end-to-end across manufacturing, warehousing, customs, and customer delivery.
Manage shipping from the manufacturing plant in Asia.
Run local logistics systems supporting the Dubai warehouse.
Lead U.S. import/export shipping and door-to-door U.S. customs clearances.
Coordinate container unloading/destuffing operations.
Manage flatbed truck delivery to customer sites and final-mile coordination.
Build, tighten, and scale logistics systems; create SOPs and operational controls.
Manage and optimize relationships with freight partners, brokers, and carriers.
Proactively solve logistics issues to prevent cost overruns and delays; improve speed, cost, reliability, and visibility.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in global logistics, import/export, and supply chain operations.
Hands-on experience with U.S. customs clearance, door-to-door delivery, containerized freight, container unloading/destuffing, and flatbed truck delivery.
Proven ability to build and improve logistics systems, SOPs, and operational controls.
Experience operating across multiple geographies.
Strong understanding of freight forwarding, customs brokerage, port operations, warehousing, and final-mile coordination.
Industry experience in building materials, construction materials, industrial products, timber, or other heavy/bulky goods (preferred).
Strong commercial judgment, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Comfortable working strategically and tactically in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
