Senior Mobile Engineer (KMP Focus)

Applift Consulting is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to lead iOS implementation of a unified mobile platform powered by Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform. You will serve as the bridge between shared Kotlin logic and the Apple ecosystem, owning the complete iOS development and App Store delivery lifecycle.

• Lead KMP/CMP development with focus on iOS-specific UI/UX parity using Compose Multiplatform
• Build and maintain native bridges (Kotlin-Native/Swift) for platform-specific APIs, background processing, and hardware integrations
• Optimize shared UI for iOS-native performance standards, handling memory management and smooth animations
• Own end-to-end iOS deployment pipeline including Xcode workspace configuration, CocoaPods/Swift Package Manager integration, signing, and App Store Connect submissions
• Collaborate with Lead Android Engineer to refine shared architecture for scalability and iOS compatibility

• Professional experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and understanding of how Kotlin compiles to Native/Objective-C frameworks
• Proven track record of releasing and maintaining iOS apps with expertise in Xcode, provisioning profiles, and App Store Connect lifecycle
• Experience with Compose Multiplatform or strong desire to master it, paired with deep understanding of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines
• Ability to write clean, performant Swift code for native overrides and bridges
• Experience with modern architectural patterns (MVI/MVVM) and dependency injection in multiplatform context
