Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

Team in UA is seeking an experienced Senior TypeScript Full-Stack Software Engineer to join their foundational team building an enterprise-grade live video distribution platform using AWS Media Services.

As a key member of a small, nimble team, you will design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure while writing production code and participating in critical engineering decisions.

• Write and maintain production code as a key contributor to a new software platform built from scratch
• Design, develop, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure in Amazon Web Services to support product needs
• Participate in engineering decision-making to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable systems
• Collaborate with engineering team to build an industry-leading streaming platform
• Lead systems design and architecture using modern methodologies

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience as JavaScript/TypeScript backend or full-stack developer
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node/NestJS, React/NextJS, REST API, and PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Terraform
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field
• Solid experience in systems design and architecture
• Product mindset with understanding of business and technology tradeoffs
• Experience leveraging AI for productivity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong collaborative and self-organization abilities
