Python Engineer (AI / Automation)

Althera Code is an innovative custom software development company specializing in AI and SaaS solutions. We are seeking a Python Engineer to join our team and develop AI-driven projects, automation pipelines, and integrations. You will work on backend services leveraging Python, AI/ML models, and automation tools like n8n and Copilot.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and microservices in Python
• Work on AI/ML integration, assist in embedding models, inference pipelines, and fine-tuning
• Use Copilot or similar AI assistants to accelerate code development and refine outputs
• Design and build automation workflows and orchestrations using n8n or similar tools
• Integrate external APIs, services, data sources, and pipelines
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, data engineers, and product teams to define APIs and interfaces
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code with unit and integration test coverage
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance and scalability issues
• Stay current with AI, automation, and Python ecosystem trends

• Minimum 1 year professional experience in software development or IT
• Strong proficiency in Python with experience in frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django
• Experience integrating or working with AI/ML models, inference pipelines, or embedding models
• Hands-on experience with code assistants like Copilot or GitHub Copilot
• Experience building or maintaining workflows with n8n or comparable automation tools
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and asynchronous processing (Celery, asyncio)
• Good understanding of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and data pipelines
• Version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
• Ability to read, understand, and contribute to existing codebases
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in remote distributed teams
• Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new tools
