The Senior Business Development Manager on the Content Development team will drive licensing and partner programs to expand and optimize LinkedIn Learning’s content library. The role focuses on developing commercial partnerships that align with product and content goals.
What you'll do
Manage global licensee relationships from prospecting through deal negotiation and ongoing partner management.
Synthesize deal concepts into term sheets and contracts in partnership with legal.
Coordinate with operations teams on deal tracking, royalty performance, and quarterly reporting.
Provide category analysis, partner performance insights, and strategic recommendations to optimize portfolio growth.
Collaborate cross-functionally on industry trends.
Identify and develop new content opportunities, business models, and growth strategies based on industry trends.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in licensing and content acquisition within the Education/Learning space.
Experience with consumer and enterprise products.
BA/BS in Business or related field (or equivalent experience); MBA preferred.
Ability to manage multiple high-profile partners and priorities with precision, diplomacy, and accountability.
Strong organizational and analytical skills; comfortable in a fast-moving, high-expectation environment.
Clear, persuasive, collaborative communication style; proactive and solution-driven.
Resourceful problem-solving and end-to-end ownership under pressure.
Conditions
Location: Hybrid (work from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days based on business needs).
Compensation: Pay range $171,000 to $278,000 annually (total compensation may include annual bonus, stock, and benefits).
