Middle Full-Stack Developer (Java / React / GIS) 3-6 month project

Ppower pro is seeking a Middle Full-Stack Developer to join a 36-month contract project developing GIS-Point, a specialized platform for geospatial data visualization and management. The role involves building robust backend solutions with Java/Spring Boot and modern JavaScript frontends while working with point clouds, mapping services, and complex geospatial data structures.

• Develop and maintain full-stack functionality using Java and JavaScript
• Work on geospatial data visualization and mapping features
• Implement and manage identity solutions using Keycloak/OIDC
• Design and optimize RESTful APIs and spatial database queries
• Ensure smooth deployment using Docker and manage code via Git

• 2+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience
• Strong backend skills with Java and Spring Boot
• Solid proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with JSP (JavaServer Pages) required
• Practical experience with at least one GIS tool: OpenLayers, Potree, or three.js
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL with PostGIS extension
• Experience with Keycloak, OIDC, or similar identity management solutions
• REST API design, development, and consumption experience
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments
• Git-based version control experience (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)
• Good English communication skills

Duration: 36 months contract

Budget: Up to $3,500 Gross per month

Location: Remote (Europe/Ukraine timezone preferred)
