Summary

The Walt Disney Company is hiring a Coordinator, Events within Disney Entertainment Television to provide administrative and logistical support to the Events team. The role supports day-to-day operations and helps ensure events are executed smoothly by partnering closely with the SVP of Events and the Events COE team.

What you'll do

  • Manage calendars and schedule meetings for the SVP of Events
  • Answer phones, route calls, and handle general department inquiries
  • Coordinate travel arrangements including itineraries, bookings, and expenses
  • Track and process invoices, collect approvals, and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with purchase orders, expense reports, and organized filing systems
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and distribute follow-ups as needed
  • Maintain department supplies, shared drives, and organizational tools
  • Support distribution of event invitations and event communications
  • Prepare event documents (e.g., run-of-show materials, check-in lists, attendee confirmations)
  • Support basic event logistics including vendor coordination, gathering quotes, and updating timelines
  • Help ship event materials, organize assets, and track deliveries
  • Provide onsite check-in and guest assistance at select events, including occasional evenings or weekends
  • Contribute to post-event recaps and help gather content for internal presentations and decks

Requirements

  • Entry-level knowledge of event coordination and logistics
  • 2 years of professional experience in coordination or a related field
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Curious and willing to learn new processes and systems
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed
  • Preferred: Experience in the entertainment industry; familiarity with vendor management; strong problem-solving skills; adaptability; passion for high-quality event experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Conditions

  • Location: Based in Burbank, CA
  • Schedule: 40-hour work week reference; hours may vary based on business needs
  • May require occasional evenings/weekends and travel for select events
  • Compensation: Bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided
