Summary
SimplePractice is a health tech company providing practice management software trusted by over 250,000 providers. The Learning Systems and Operations Specialist (fixed-term) supports the Talent Development team by running day-to-day LMS operations and third-party courseware integrations to ensure a seamless employee learning experience.
What you'll do
- Manage daily operations of the Sana LMS, including assigning courseware and managing learner access
- Monitor and validate learner data feeds from Workday and ensure accurate synchronization within Sana
- Move learners into appropriate groups and cohorts to ensure correct course assignments
- Configure and maintain automations supporting onboarding workflows and training assignments
- Generate and maintain reporting from Sana (Insights and other reporting tools)
- Collect and consolidate training data and reports from third-party courseware providers and incorporate into Sana reporting
- Troubleshoot LMS issues to ensure assignments and automations function properly
- Provide real-time LMS support via Slack for employees across the company
- Respond to support inquiries in a friendly, responsive, solutions-oriented manner
- Support additional learning systems and operations tasks as the function evolves
Requirements
- Proven experience implementing, administering, or managing a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Experience troubleshooting LMS workflows, automations, and integrations
- Strong experience with LMS reporting and data analysis
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service and communication skills with quick, helpful responses to internal requests
- Comfort working in a Slack-based, real-time support environment
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
- Comfort working in an evolving environment with changing priorities
Bonus: Sana LMS experience; Workday/HRIS integration experience; third-party courseware integration experience; prior customer support experience; experience in a learning department
Conditions
- Fixed-term engagement: 6 months
- Up to 25 hours per week
- Must be available during standard business hours each weekday (no evenings or weekends)
- Base compensation: $50/hour
- Support provided in a Slack-based environment
