Remote Lead $12.7k/mo

Summary

Finch is a Series B company building infrastructure that powers employment systems, enabling secure access to payroll, benefits, and HR data across 250+ systems through a single integration.

They are hiring a Brand Designer to own and evolve how Finch’s brand shows up across marketing, web, events, sales, and internal storytelling, ensuring the brand scales across commercial and enterprise audiences.

What you'll do

  • Own and design high-quality brand assets across campaigns, web, sales materials, events, social, and internal storytelling.
  • Define and evolve the brand system, including core visual assets, guidelines, and reusable components.
  • Build templates, libraries, and standards to enable consistent, high-quality execution by the marketing team.
  • Maintain a high bar for quality and consistency across every brand touchpoint.
  • Balance speed, craft, and risk; decide when to move fast, polish, or explore new creative directions.
  • Apply systems thinking and strong judgment to layouts, concepts, and executions.
  • Operate as a self-starter and self-checker, taking ownership and continuously raising quality.
  • Collaborate with marketing, founders, sales, product, and external partners to align brand with business goals.
  • Translate a complex technical infrastructure product into clear, compelling visual stories for broad audiences.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in brand design, visual design, or marketing-focused creative roles.
  • Experience at a brand or design agency; ideally with B2B SaaS or technology clients.
  • Portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and execution across brand, web, and print.
  • Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, color, hierarchy, and composition.
  • Proficiency with Figma, Webflow, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Curiosity and comfort experimenting with AI-assisted design tools and workflows.
  • Experience designing for marketing surfaces (websites, campaigns, decks, events, content).
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Comfort in high-velocity environments with evolving priorities.
  • Interest in technology and complex products; API or data infrastructure experience is a plus but not required.

Conditions

  • Location: NYC or San Francisco (SF).
  • Compensation: $145,000–$160,000 per year base salary (offers may vary by geography and experience) plus equity (10-year exercise window).
  • Benefits: full medical, dental, and vision coverage (100% for employees, 85% for dependents).
  • Unlimited PTO with a 3-week minimum.
  • 401(k) plan.
  • Regular team offsites and meetups.
