Summary
Christian Dior Couture is hiring a Trainee, Visual Merchandising to support the field Visual team in coordinating and executing administrative and project work across stores and corporate partners. The role helps drive seasonal launches, sample and prop logistics, and data organization to support the organization’s short- and long-term objectives.
What you'll do
Partner with the Visual Merchandising team to support seasonal launches and in-store rotations.
Oversee prop inventory movement and integrity, ensuring items are properly cataloged at off-site storage facilities.
Coordinate shipments with warehouse partners.
Track and catalog shipments arriving via Headquarters, including receipt of invoicing.
Ship and track visual samples to Paris.
Log and organize VM RTW sample usage, including the prop and sample closet.
Maintain the Visual Merchandising calendar.
Manage the intranet database, including floorplans, contact lists, and store hours for all locations.
Post and catalog current photos of installations and ensure new store opening photos are properly organized.
Create master PowerPoints for all locations to facilitate zoning of in-store displays.
Collaborate with cross-functional in-store and corporate teams to support business needs.
Ensure priority tasks are met and pivot quickly when urgent needs arise.
Requirements
At least 6 months of prior experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and follow-through skills.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing deadlines.
Positive attitude and ability to build strong relationships with the team.
Conditions
Full-time, 12-month program.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm; occasional overnights to support launches/event set-ups.
Compensation: $20/hour (estimated to approximately $3,467/month).
