Summary
DevKit is recruiting a Senior AI/ML Engineer for an AI-driven SaaS procurement platform. The role involves leading AI/ML initiatives organization-wide, overseeing the entire ML lifecycle from conception to execution, and integrating cutting-edge research into a scalable product that transforms procurement into a strategic business function.
What you'll do
- Organize and oversee AI/DS/ML initiatives across the organization, managing the complete ML lifecycle from conception through execution
- Drive continuous development of AI/ML functionalities for the SaaS product with focus on well-structured, secure, and scalable code with comprehensive documentation and testing
- Integrate relevant research findings into the product through experimentation and creation of solutions such as chatbots, forecasts, and decision support systems
- Utilize software engineering expertise and business acumen to grow and maintain ML services across all development stages
- Establish and manage high-quality datasets and develop data pipelines for procurement data processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional software engineering teams to implement transformative changes in procurement practices
- Stay informed on latest AI/ML advancements and industry best practices, contributing insights for continuous improvement
- Foster a culture of learning, knowledge sharing, and team development within the Data Science team
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven industry experience applying Machine Learning and AI techniques
- Proficiency in Machine Learning principles and generative models with understanding of computational limitations and data privacy
- 3+ years expertise in NLP and LLM, including prompt engineering, training, fine-tuning, RAG, evaluation, transfer learning, and anomaly detection
- Knowledge of Data Analysis/Processing, Data Visualization, and Storage systems (Databases, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses)
- Expertise in Python ecosystem and popular ML libraries/frameworks tailored for LLM
- Experience with Infrastructure management (MLOps/LLMOps, AWS/GCP Clouds, SQL, REST APIs, GitHub)
- Proven ability to oversee end-to-end ML pipelines
- Advocacy for best coding practices, thorough documentation, rigorous reviews, data integrity, security, and performance optimization
- Proficient English communication skills, both verbal and written, with clarity and professionalism
Conditions
Schedule & Location: Remote with attendance at EU events once per quarter. Time zone: CET. Occasional business travel within Europe may be required.
