Senior AQA (C#)

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior AQA professional for a long-term project with an Energy client. The role focuses on migrating business logic from Oracle to .NET for a microservice platform, requiring expertise in C# automation testing and comprehensive quality assurance strategies.

• Analyze functional business requirements for completeness and clarity
• Participate in application design with developers to develop thorough testing strategies
• Create and execute test automation using C# and xUnit framework
• Execute test scripts and identify variations from expected results
• Create, track, and retest software defects in designated tracking tools
• Work closely with development and product management teams on test coverage
• Participate in QA process improvement initiatives and provide input
• Support documentation of processes and testing strategies
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding team status and progress

• 7+ years of professional experience as QA
• 5+ years of experience as Automation QA
• Hands-on experience with both API and UI automation testing
• Commercial experience with C# test automation
• Strong knowledge of code-test approaches, test case creation and execution, and requirements analysis
• Technical proficiency: C#/.NET, xUnit, Test Containers, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, REST Easy, Git, Bash
• Clear understanding of SDLC and STLC processes and phases
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
