Summary

Disney Cruise Line seeks a Manager of Recreation & Attractions Operations to lead shipboard and island recreation teams from Celebration, FL. This leadership role oversees daily operations across Disney's cruise ships and island destinations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining safety and operational excellence aligned with Disney values.

What you'll do

Oversee all recreation and attractions activities onboard ships and islands; collaborate with leadership teams to implement best practices and resolve operational challenges; ensure guest experiences deliver the Disney Difference; enforce safety and security protocols including SMS and LOGs compliance; lead incident response and risk mitigation; support recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and staff rotation; mentor and develop leaders and cast members; participate in succession planning; partner with cross-functional teams on innovation and process improvement; support island operations at Lookout Cay and Castaway Cay including staffing, training, vendor management, and guest flow optimization; oversee sustainability and accessibility initiatives.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years leadership experience in recreation, attractions, hospitality, or related environments (cruise line, resort, or theme park preferred); proven ability to lead diverse teams in high-volume, fast-paced settings; strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills; experience with safety management and guest service; Bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, business, or equivalent experience; shipboard or island recreation experience strongly preferred; demonstrated cross-departmental collaboration abilities.
