Architectural Designer/Drafter - Residential

DAHLIN is an award-winning architecture, planning, and interiors firm with offices across the Western United States. The Architectural Designer/Drafter will support the Residential team in Pleasanton by developing design and technical solutions for small projects or portions of larger projects under general supervision.

• Apply standard architectural techniques on small projects or selected segments of larger residential projects.
• Create design layouts and project features by researching, compiling, and recording required information.
• Review drawings and designs for compliance with specifications and standards and implement directed changes.
• Assist project teams and other staff members as needed.

• 2+ years of experience on low-density residential projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program.
• Proficiency in Revit/BIM, AutoCAD, SketchUp modeling, Adobe Photoshop, and presentation material preparation.
• Strong problem-solving, independent thinking, listening, and follow-through skills.
• Strong verbal and graphic communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

• Preferred: commitment to obtaining architectural licensure.
