This Trainee Email Marketing Manager role involves creating engaging email content and optimizing marketing campaigns for Mailkeeper, a SaaS email marketing and retention platform.
What you'll do
- Create engaging and persuasive email content including attention-grabbing headlines and calls to action
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and design to align content with business goals
- Assemble email layouts using content editors and email builders like Mailchimp and Stripo
- Analyze email performance metrics and product metrics to make data-driven optimization decisions
- Monitor effectiveness of campaigns and make iterative adjustments to improve results
Requirements
- Intermediate/upper-intermediate English writing skills
- Proven experience in content creation for emails, banners, social media, and marketing copy
- Hands-on experience with design tools such as Canva, Figma, or Photoshop
- Experience with email builders and content editors like Mailchimp, Stripo, or Klaviyo
- Basic analytical mindset with ability to understand metrics and apply insights
- Ability to quickly create content following business needs and target audience
- Adaptability and willingness to learn
- Advantages: Email marketing experience, basic HTML/CSS knowledge, understanding of segmentation logic, knowledge of anti-spam rules and deliverability best practices
