Senior SAP Basis Consultant

N-iX is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Basis Consultant with 8+ years of experience to join their SAP Global Solution Tech team. The role involves supporting L3/L4 level operations for the US and EU SAP landscape, including system upgrades and migration from on-premises to Azure cloud environment.

• Identify needed system corrections and enhancements, recommend changes to stakeholders
• Liaise with IT functional owners on project requirements and manage Basis-side tasks
• Advise on systems capacity planning and apply advanced system management principles
• Ensure effective change control implementation including risk management and back-out planning
• Provide subject matter expertise in technical discussions and mentor junior team members
• Prepare reports, justification documentation, and support materials
• Manage SAP landscape on Azure including installation, updates, and upgrades
• Perform performance optimization and troubleshooting for ABAP, JAVA, and HANA environments

• 8+ years of hands-on implementation and support experience with S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP ERP 6.0, SAP BW 7.5, SAP PO 7.5, SAP Fiori, SAP SRM, SAP CAR, SAP SLT, and Solution Manager 7.2
• Experience with AIX-DB2 and SLES environments
• Proven experience in S/4HANA and BW/4HANA migration to Azure
• Azure landscape management expertise (installation, updates, upgrades)
• Knowledge of DRP solutions including Suse Cluster and Pacemaker
• Performance optimization and tuning skills for applications and HANA DB
• SAP BTP troubleshooting and setup experience
• SAP BAS (Business Application Studio) experience
• Proficiency in Identity Access Management technologies (SSO, SAML, ADFS, SSL, SNC)
• SAP SCC configuration and troubleshooting experience
• SAP Fiori OData configuration knowledge
• SAP HANA XSA design and configuration expertise
• Understanding of complex IT landscapes and security best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proactive mindset
• Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
