PHP Tech Lead

DeltaFunc is seeking an experienced PHP Tech Lead to oversee backend development and drive technical vision for an innovative fintech project. This role involves leading a team of specialists and owning the backend stack architecture and implementation.

• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the backend development team
• Establish and maintain technical processes including code review and SAST procedures
• Ensure code and test quality standards across the team
• Design and architect backend solutions using DDD and Hexagonal architecture principles
• Manage high-level engineering efforts and technical initiatives
• Provide technical guidance and consultations for project planning and cross-team collaboration
• Conduct technical interviews for team expansion
• Manage technical team resources and foster team motivation and spirit

• At least 3 years of experience in a Team Lead or Tech Lead role
• Deep understanding of Symfony framework, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Hexagonal architecture
• Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL and Redis
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
• Understanding of security practices, deployment processes, and SAST tools
• Ability to read and communicate fluently in English
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices
• Plus: Amazon cloud stack experience, previous fintech project participation, B2+ English level, experience leading distributed teams
