Strategy & Business Development Manager

Ralph Lauren is a global leader in premium lifestyle products across apparel, accessories, home, fragrances, and hospitality. The Strategy & Business Development Manager will join the Corporate Strategy team to analyze business opportunities and drive key strategic priorities supporting global growth initiatives. The role partners cross-functionally to deliver insights, modeling, and recommendations to senior leadership.

• Track and report market size, growth, and share metrics relevant to the business.
• Establish processes and metrics to evaluate business performance against objectives.
• Gather, analyze, and communicate data across divisions, brands, regions, and product categories.
• Coordinate scenario modeling and due diligence for new business opportunities with divisions and functional groups.
• Support acquisition and licensing activities, including research, negotiation support, legal documentation, and implementation planning.
• Support strategic framing and execution of projects and initiatives aligned to the 3-year plan.
• Analyze competitor performance and assess new and existing markets.
• Perform industry, peer, and trend research, analysis, and benchmarking.
• Support Investor Relations activities and related initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional working teams and liaise with internal partners and external consultants/service providers.
• Create detailed financial models and analyses to support strategic projects.
• Provide project updates and findings to senior management and business partners in a clear, actionable format.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5+ years of post-undergraduate experience.
• Experience in strategy consulting, M&A advisory, or corporate business development.
• Experience within consumer products, retail, or luxury environments.
• Superior executive presence with outstanding communication and formal presentation skills.
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to synthesize data into insights.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to change.
• Strong attention to detail with urgency and accuracy.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proven ability to drive projects to completion.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and demonstrate strong time management.

• Annual salary range stated: $71,500–$130,000 (converted to an estimated monthly USD value using the lower bound).
