Summary

Manyone is a strategy-design hybrid consultancy with a global footprint. The Spatial Designer will conceptualize and deliver branded environments for events, booths, offices, and activations, translating brand strategy into built experiences. The role spans the full process from concept through documentation and on-site installation oversight.

What you'll do

  • Design branded physical environments and experiences for event spaces, conference booths, corporate offices, and brand activations.
  • Lead work across the full design process from strategy and concepting to construction documentation and installation oversight.
  • Translate brand identity into cohesive spatial experiences with interactive touchpoints.
  • Balance aesthetics with practical constraints such as traffic flow, interaction points, budget, and technical feasibility.
  • Create client-facing presentations using rendering and visualization tools.
  • Produce construction-ready documentation and guide construction/build teams through execution.
  • Coordinate details such as ordering furniture and supporting installation and finishing stages, including travel when required.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of professional experience designing spatial environments (agency experience preferred), such as retail spaces, corporate events, conference booths, or brand activations.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating successful projects across multiple space types.
  • Proficiency in 3D design tools (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino, Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of floor plans, blueprints, and CAD drawings.
  • Experience with rendering software for compelling client presentations.
  • Ability to produce construction-ready documentation of design intent.
  • Knowledge of interior design principles (materials, finishes, lighting, color theory).
  • Experience integrating digital elements (screens, interactive displays, AR/VR) with physical design.
  • Understanding of spatial planning, circulation, and user experience within environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of fabrication methods, materials, and installation processes.
  • Budget and vendor management knowledge is a plus.
  • Ideally located within 1 hour of Brooklyn, NY.

  • Location: Brooklyn / New York City team; preference to be within 1 hour of Brooklyn.
