Senior Python Developer with experience in Django and AWS

DataArt is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join the Release Products team of a leading music company. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining production-ready backend services with high autonomy and ownership in a fast-paced environment.

• Build and maintain Django backend services
• Own features end-to-end from design to deployment
• Contribute to infrastructure and CI/CD improvements where applicable
• Work directly with a senior engineering team with minimal oversight
• Take responsibility for production systems, including troubleshooting and operational ownership
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of backend services

• 6+ years of professional engineering experience
• Experience as a senior or lead-level contributor
• Production Django experience (not just Python)
• Strong API design, data modeling, and performance optimization skills
• Solid AI skills and fluency in using AI tools, or strong willingness to work with AI
• AWS expertise, including hands-on experience with EKS (not just theoretical Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and ensure system stability
• High autonomy and independent technical decision-making capability
• Ability to ramp up quickly in existing production systems
• Strong communication skills and proactive approach
• T-shaped engineer profile (deep expertise in one area, strong in another)
• Experience across backend + frontend or backend + infrastructure
• Comfortable working with experienced teams and minimal process overhead
