Summary

Jito.dev is seeking a skilled Python Developer to join their Core Team and build a high-load Geospatial AI Data Platform. You will productionize Data Science models and transform massive volumes of raw imagery into structured insights that power client-facing products.

What you'll do

  • Implement and optimize robust ETL data pipelines for collecting, cleaning, transforming, and loading large volumes of geospatial data
  • Design, build, and maintain high-speed, scalable RESTful APIs using frameworks like FastAPI and AWS Lambda Powertools
  • Work closely with Data Scientists to containerize and deploy models into the Geospatial AI Data Platform
  • Write clean, efficient, testable, and reusable Python code following PEP8 standards
  • Optimize data processing and platform latency to handle requests at massive scale and high volume
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of Microservices and Serverless architectures
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, DevOps, and Product Managers in an Agile environment

Requirements

  • B.Sc. degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 4+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer focusing on data-intensive backend systems
  • Expert knowledge of Python 3 and PEP8 compliance
  • Hands-on experience with C# and .NET for backend development
  • Experience developing with OOP and SOLID principles
  • Proven experience designing production-ready APIs using FastAPI or AWS Lambda Powertools
  • Experience with AWS services: S3, SQS, EC2, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFormation/SAM, and boto3
  • Docker and Kubernetes experience
  • Linux experience, preferably Ubuntu
  • SQL Database experience (PostgreSQL)
  • Git version control and collaborative development workflows
  • Good English communication skills

Conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with geo-spatial libraries (Geopandas, GDAL, Shapely, Rasterio)
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA Triton Inference Server
  • Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow management
  • On-premises server experience
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and DevOps best practices
