UI/UX Designer (AI-First Process Builder)

lalafo is seeking a UI/UX Designer to build and scale an AI-first design process where AI agents perform most design work rather than manual labor. This role focuses on designing systems and frameworks that automate design tasks through AI, not just using AI tools for traditional design work.

• Design and build an AI-driven design process that goes beyond traditional interfaces
• Define how AI agents generate UI concepts, layouts, and variations, create design systems, and assist in research and insights generation
• Create frameworks for prompt structures, design generation pipelines, validation and iteration loops
• Transform manual design tasks into automated or semi-automated workflows
• Work on real product interfaces to train and improve the AI system
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to integrate AI into the development lifecycle

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design
• Strong understanding of design systems, UX principles, and interaction design
• Experience structuring design processes, not just creating designs
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in workflows
• Ability to think in systems rather than individual screens
• Experience with GPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar AI tools
• Experience building workflows with AI agents
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JS)
