Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Finalsite is a community relationship management platform for K-12 schools serving 7,000+ schools worldwide. This Director of FP&A role drives financial planning, forecasting, and performance insights to support executive leadership and board-level decision-making. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, SaaS financial expertise, and cross-functional partnership capabilities.
What you'll do
Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting cycles; build and maintain financial models for revenue, margin, headcount, and cash flow; develop scenario modeling for strategic initiatives and resource allocation; deliver monthly financial reporting with variance analysis; create dashboards tracking ARR, churn, bookings, CAC, and EBITDA; conduct operating reviews with department leaders; partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and HR on financial planning; prepare board-level reporting and investor updates; improve FP&A processes and implement financial planning software; drive adoption of AI solutions in FP&A.
Requirements
7-10+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance; strong understanding of SaaS business models and metrics; demonstrated experience building budgets, forecasts, and financial models; advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; ability to communicate with finance and non-finance leaders. Preferred: Professional Services financial planning experience; familiarity with NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, Workday, Power BI, or Tableau; board reporting and executive presentation experience.
