Summary

CoinMarketCap is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to develop and maintain automation testing frameworks and tools that improve testing efficiency and quality. The role involves designing test scripts for functional, API, and performance testing while optimizing CI/CD processes and contributing to product architecture improvements.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain automation testing frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency and quality
  • Design, develop, and optimize automation test scripts covering functional testing, API testing, and performance testing
  • Participate in testing platform construction, optimize CI/CD processes, and enhance automation testing integration
  • Develop testing strategies aligned with business requirements, write test cases, and conduct test execution and defect management
  • Analyze test data, locate and track software defects, and drive rapid issue resolution
  • Participate in product architecture design reviews and provide optimization suggestions from a testing perspective
  • Keep up with industry technology trends and explore new testing tools and methods

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields with at least 3 years of test development experience
  • Proficient in at least one programming language (Python/Java/Go) with good programming skills
  • Familiar with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, TestNG, pytest with capability for secondary development
  • Familiar with API testing tools (Postman/RestAssured/JMeter) and database testing (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Experienced in performance testing, stress testing, and stability testing using JMeter, Locust, Gatling
  • Familiar with DevOps processes and CI/CD integration (Jenkins/GitLab CI/K8s)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with quick response capability
  • Excellent communication skills and strong teamwork sense with responsibility and self-motivation

Conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience testing large-scale Internet and high-concurrency systems
  • Experience in security testing, containerized testing (Docker/K8s), or AI-based automation testing
  • Participation or leadership in testing tools/platform development
  • Open-source project contributions or technical blog sharing
