What you'll do
- Receive and file documents, including electronic filings.
- Scan/image documents and perform data entry.
- Receipt monies and support related payment processing.
- Set hearings and maintain court calendars.
- Cross-train in multiple areas of the district court and assist with caseload management as needed.
- Provide information and assistance to judiciary, attorneys, law enforcement agencies, state agencies, and the public.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Clerk of the District Court.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year of clerical work experience.
- Preferred: Experience with computer programs and knowledge of modern office procedures and practices.
- Skills: Detail-oriented; ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task.
- Skills: Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Skills: Ability to make decisions in accordance with laws, court policies, and procedures.
- Skills: Excellent customer service.
