Senior DevOps Engineer

Flamingo is revolutionizing the Managed Service Provider (MSP) industry with an AI-driven, open-source platform for IT and security. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design and implement cloud infrastructure for a SaaS product, taking ownership of Kubernetes-based platform deployment and ensuring high-load system reliability.

• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure in GCP or AWS, covering compute, storage, networking (VPCs, subnets, routing), IAM, and managed databases using Terraform
• Operate and manage Kubernetes clusters, including cluster administration, workload orchestration, ingress/gateway configuration, and developing custom Helm Charts
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, following GitOps practices for consistent deployments
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and tracing with Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana for system observability and incident response
• Design and secure cloud networking, including VPC architectures, load balancers, service meshes, and Bastion host access with strong security practices
• Collaborate with engineering teams to refine deployment strategies, improve reliability, and support feature delivery
• Contribute to an open-source product, developing features that benefit both the community and the platform

Must-Have:

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes cluster administration, workload orchestration, and GitOps practices; ability to write and maintain custom Helm Charts
• Proven experience managing infrastructure as code with Terraform and operating environments on GCP
• Solid knowledge of GCP or AWS core services, including compute, storage, and managed databases
• Experience with VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, and load balancers
• Practical experience with IAM, secrets management, TLS, encryption, and policy enforcement in production environments
• Experience building and maintaining pipelines with GitHub Actions/GitLab CI and ArgoCD/FluxCD
• Operational knowledge of Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, and streaming platforms such as Kafka
• Hands-on use of Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and similar observability tools

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven systems such as AWS Lambda, Cloud Functions, or Pub/Sub triggers
