Data Engineer (with Azure)

RecruitGarden is seeking a Data Engineer with Azure expertise to help select, deploy, and manage data processing pipeline systems and infrastructure for corporate clients across EU, CIS, United Kingdom, and Middle East. The role focuses on implementing cutting-edge cloud technologies and supporting customer requirements through innovative data solutions.

• Implement ETL pipelines using Azure cloud technologies
• Monitor and maintain data pipeline performance
• Perform model optimization and DevOps responsibilities
• Work with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Apache Spark, Data Lake, Databricks, Data Factory, Cosmos DB, HD Insights, Stream Analytics, and Event Grid
• Support data processing pipeline infrastructure for implementation projects

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes
• 2+ years of experience with Azure Cloud technologies
• Experience with distributed computing principles and key architectures
• Broad experience with data stores including Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Synapse Analytics, Apache Spark, Azure Data Factory
• Understanding of landing, staging areas, data cleansing, data profiling, data security, and data architecture concepts (DWH, Data Lake, Delta Lake/Lakehouse, Datamart)
• Strong SQL skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• English language proficiency (Level 2)
