The Director of Talent Acquisition provides enterprise-wide strategic leadership for workforce planning, recruiting strategy, hiring processes, and onboarding to support company growth and long-term talent needs.

What you'll do

  • Hire, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Talent Acquisition team and foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, partnership, and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee and improve full-cycle recruitment for key roles to ensure speed, quality, efficiency, and long-term retention.

  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for critical and high-volume roles.

  • Define TA performance standards, metrics, goals, and reporting for speed, quality of hire, impact, and cost effectiveness.

  • Optimize recruiting and onboarding processes by maximizing systems effectiveness (ATS, HRIS, CRM) and improving workflows.

  • Partner with business and HR leadership to forecast workforce needs and strengthen hiring capability and shared ownership of outcomes.

  • Strengthen the employment brand by partnering with Marketing on digital, social, and community engagement strategies.

  • Ensure recruiting practices broaden candidate pools, remove unnecessary barriers, and comply with equal employment and anti-discrimination laws.

  • Collaborate with HR Operations, IT, and Compliance to ensure TA systems meet regulatory and business requirements.

  • Partner with HR and leadership to ensure compliant hiring decisions, job classification, and compensation practices (including FLSA).

  • Align talent acquisition efforts with short- and long-term business priorities and uphold confidentiality, policies, and federal regulations.

  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers and deliver solutions for concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience).

  • 8+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience including full-cycle recruiting strategy and execution.

  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing recruiting teams.

  • Expertise with recruiting technologies (ATS, HRIS, CRM) and sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed).

  • Proven success developing workforce plans and scalable sourcing strategies aligned to business growth.

  • Experience overseeing or integrating related talent functions (onboarding, employer branding/marketing, early career programs).

  • Track record of establishing TA metrics and improving quality of hire and retention.

  • Preferred: experience managing recruiting budgets and agency/vendor partnerships; data-driven process improvement; change leadership; ability to work in a matrixed environment; strong written/verbal communication.

  • Preferred: proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Conditions

  • Type: Full-Time/Regular.

  • Location: Remote (US).

  • Compensation: Salary range $117,680–$140,000 annually (offer depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and location).
