Senior Manager, Art Direction – Unpublished R&D Product

Riot Games is seeking a Senior Manager of Art Direction for an unpublished R&D product. In this role, you will oversee art direction for project cosmetics from concept to final in-game assets, ensuring thematic vision, craft excellence, and strong player resonance while leading cross-regional teams across Riot LA and Singapore.

• Oversee art direction for project cosmetics from concept through final in-game assets
• Uphold artistic vision, craft standards, and success criteria for clarity and emotional impact
• Partner with Riot LA Creative and Product leadership to implement creative vision and ensure alignment with global quality standards
• Champion player clarity and fantasy in cosmetics, guiding teams to create visually exciting and thematically cohesive art
• Collaborate across Riot LA and Singapore to maintain alignment and manage feedback throughout production
• Build trust-based relationships with creative, art, and product partners through transparency and consistent delivery
• Remove creative and operational blockers to enable sustainable delivery
• Mentor and grow craft leads to foster creative excellence and leadership confidence
• Foster inclusive team culture that encourages experimentation and continuous improvement

• Deep experience with game art production pipeline across multiple art disciplines
• Proven success in art direction and people management
• Strong background collaborating with external vendors and co-development partners
• Skilled in stakeholder management, prioritization, and navigating ambiguity
• Fluent in English with clear communication of creative direction and goals
• Experience developing artistic vision, shepherding it through production and shipping
• Desired: Production schedule planning experience, AAA stylized content shipping experience, outsourcing workflows knowledge, engine experience (Unreal, Unity, proprietary), multilingual skills
