Frontend Developer (React / Next.js and Headless CMS)

Betlace is seeking a performance-driven Frontend Developer to join their core engineering team. You will translate high-fidelity designs into modular, high-performance web applications, focusing on building decoupled Headless frontends for lightning-fast, SEO-optimized user experiences.

• Build and maintain a robust library of reusable UI components using React, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript
• Develop scalable frontend architectures using Next.js (App Router), focusing on Server Components and optimized data fetching
• Connect frontends to various data sources (Headless WordPress, Shopify, or Contentful) using GraphQL and REST APIs
• Ensure all projects meet elite Core Web Vitals standards (Lighthouse scores of 90+)
• Implement complex client-side logic for multi-step forms, authentication flows, and interactive search interfaces
• Ensure all code follows WCAG 2.1 standards to provide inclusive experiences for all users

• 2+ years of professional experience with React & Next.js, including deep understanding of hooks, routing, and rendering strategies (SSG, ISR, SSR)
• Mastery of Tailwind CSS and experience with UI primitives (Shadcn/UI or Radix UI)
• Proficiency in Zustand, TanStack Query (React Query), or similar state management tools
• Experience with Git/GitHub, Vercel/Netlify deployment workflows, and Figma-to-code workflows
• Strong experience with TypeScript for code reliability
• Preferred: WPGraphQL and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) experience, SEO best practices for JavaScript-heavy applications, payment gateway integration (Stripe, PayPal) and third-party marketing APIs
