Summary
Firefly is a data-first out-of-home ad network delivering dynamic, location-triggered messaging through car top and in-car screens in major U.S. markets. The Freelance Photographer/Videographer role supports in-market campaign documentation by capturing high-quality photo and video assets of vehicle media and experiential activations. This project-based position helps ensure campaigns are accurately and consistently captured for client and internal use.
What you'll do
- Capture photo and/or video content of digital taxi tops, fully wrapped vehicles (static and in motion), and experiential activations in active city environments.
- Follow structured shot lists to ensure required angles and coverage are obtained.
- Communicate clearly with remote teams before, during, and after shoots.
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve on site to adapt to real-world conditions.
- Edit and deliver high-resolution photo and/or video assets.
- Organize files according to provided guidelines and deliver within agreed timelines.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional photography and/or videography experience.
- Experience with outdoor, automotive, event, or branded content.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Professional DSLR or mirrorless camera (full-frame preferred).
- Wide and standard lenses required (telephoto preferred for motion capture).
- Tripod required; gimbal preferred for video assignments.
- Ability to shoot RAW (photo) and preferably 4K (video).
- Reliable laptop and high-speed internet for asset delivery.
- Portfolio required (submissions reviewed prior to initial interview).
Conditions
- Freelance, project-based assignments scheduled based on local campaign needs.
- All shoots are on-location and typically last up to 4 hours.
- Flexible, project-based work with opportunity for repeat assignments in local market.
