HR Director

Summary

Growing infrastructure services organization seeking an experienced HR Director to lead and scale the HR function. This strategic leadership role will oversee a team of five HR professionals and drive talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development across field and corporate operations.

What you'll do

Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business growth; lead and mentor 5 HR professionals; oversee recruiting strategy for field and corporate roles; implement workforce planning for project-based staffing; lead employee relations and conflict resolution; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws; lead compensation strategy and benefits administration; oversee HRIS systems, reporting, and key HR metrics; develop scalable processes to support growth and acquisitions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred); 8-12+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in infrastructure, construction, utilities, engineering, or field-service environments; experience managing multi-site or project-based workforce structures; proven ability to lead and develop HR teams; strong knowledge of employment law and regulatory compliance; experience in union or prevailing wage environments preferred; SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred; strategic thinking, strong leadership presence, data-driven decision making, change management expertise.
