Human Resources Director

Summary

Rand Group is a fast-growing IT consulting organization seeking a Human Resources Director to lead and scale global people operations across the United States, Canada, and the Philippines. The role oversees HR strategy and execution to ensure compliance, operational excellence, and an inclusive culture that supports distributed technical consulting teams.

What you'll do

  • Lead global HR strategy aligned with business objectives for IT consulting and professional services teams.
  • Oversee full-cycle HR operations across the U.S., Canada, and the Philippines, including policy development, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across federal, state/provincial, and local jurisdictions.
  • Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy.
  • Manage and optimize global compensation, benefits, and payroll programs.
  • Develop initiatives, policies, and programs to create consistency across the organization.
  • Drive performance management, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Support global mobility, offshoring, and cross-border employment models common to IT consulting.
  • Establish HR metrics, dashboards, and reporting to support data-driven decisions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop HR team members across regions.
  • Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture across a geographically distributed workforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including Director-level responsibility.
  • Demonstrated experience managing HR operations in the United States, Canada, and the Philippines.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices across all three regions.
  • Proven experience supporting IT consulting, technology services, or professional services organizations.
  • Experience with global payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to navigate complex, fast-paced, client-driven environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Preferred: experience supporting offshore or nearshore delivery models.
  • Preferred: HR certifications (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CHRP, or equivalent).
  • Preferred: experience with mergers, acquisitions, or rapid organizational growth.
  • Preferred: strong change management and organizational development expertise.
