Summary
Rain is a global payments infrastructure company making stablecoins usable in the real world across card transactions, cross-border payments, B2B purchases, and remittances. The company is hiring a motion-focused Designer to define and build Rain’s motion language and contribute to the broader brand system across key touchpoints. The role partners closely with marketing and brand to create high-quality motion and brand design that supports Rain’s positioning and storytelling.
What you'll do
Define and shape Rain’s motion language by establishing core principles, guidelines, and reusable animation systems for consistent, scalable brand motion.
Collaborate across teams to ensure coherent, intentional design across touchpoints and use motion to elevate enterprise-focused brand positioning.
Lead and execute motion work across product launches, brand campaigns, event visuals, social content, and other channels from concept to final export.
Create storyboards, animate assets, build templates, and prepare deliverables for multiple formats and distribution channels.
Support the brand system by producing collateral, swag, and campaign assets while maintaining high craft and consistency.
Requirements
4+ years of professional design experience (fintech or creative agency experience preferred).
Expert proficiency in After Effects and Figma; Lottie (or similar) experience is a strong plus.
Strong fundamentals in typography, color, and layout applied to motion design.
Ability to translate abstract or technical concepts (payments infrastructure, stablecoins, APIs) into clear, engaging visuals.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment while managing multiple projects.
Strong communication skills and ability to advocate for design in cross-functional settings.
Understanding of how to apply AI to accelerate work while maintaining taste, craft, and judgment.
Bonus: 3D/Cinema 4D experience; fintech/crypto experience.
