Player Development Assistant

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Player Development Assistant for its Academic Support Services department. The role supports football student-athletes by overseeing academic accountability and providing individualized mentoring to promote academic success.

• Supervise study hall for football student-athletes.
• Check and track attendance of students in their classes.
• Provide one-on-one mentoring to assigned football student-athletes regarding their academic endeavors.

• Ability to supervise and support student-athletes in an academic setting.
• Ability to monitor class attendance and maintain accountability.
• Mentoring and student support skills.

• Preferred: Coaching and/or playing experience at the collegiate or high school level.
