Supply Chain Manager
Summary
Ripple Talent’s client is hiring a Supply Chain Manager to build and manage a multi-supplier supply network supporting industrial and medical customer segments. The role focuses on supplier partnerships, cost optimization, supply continuity, and meeting quality and service expectations across the North Division.
What you'll do
Develop and build professional partnership arrangements with suppliers.
Establish formal Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the supply network.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop procurement strategies and plans that reduce total cost and improve availability, quality, service, and innovation.
Anticipate, negotiate, and execute supplier agreements.
Continuously optimize the supplier network through spend reduction and/or value enhancement.
Conduct market and risk analysis to drive industry strategies.
Build comprehensive knowledge of gas suppliers and serve as a business-wide technical and commercial subject matter expert.
Own the supplier qualification process by collaborating with and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Gather and analyze data from varied sources to identify network optimization opportunities.
Attend off-site supplier tours and audits as needed.
Provide after-hours support approximately one week per quarter.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Support special or cross-functional projects and initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, procurement, sourcing, or supplier relationship management (preferably in industrial, medical, or regulated environments).
Demonstrated experience building, managing, and optimizing multi-supplier networks across regions or divisions.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
Experience with Salesforce and Tableau.
Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of other MS Office tools; aptitude to learn new applications quickly.
Strong competencies in negotiation, communication, analytical thinking, risk assessment, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.
Conditions
Hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office.
Can be based in Atlanta or Nashville.
Travel up to 20% for supplier audits and site visits.
After-hours support approximately one week per quarter.
