Middle+/Senior DevOps Engineer

Devico is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of commercial experience to join their team full-time. The company builds technology focused on sustainability and carbon management, helping businesses optimize operations and reduce emissions through advanced software solutions.

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipeline
• Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security using DataDog
• Collaborate with software developers, system operators, and IT staff to manage code releases
• Ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Automate and streamline operations and processes
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
• Extensive experience with AWS services and cloud architecture
• Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Proficient in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipeline
• Expertise in monitoring and performance management using DataDog
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Upper-intermediate English or higher

Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or Terraform; experience with other monitoring tools and logging frameworks; knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments; familiarity with other CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
