Junior Software Engineer (Java / Full-Stack)

MaxBill is seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join their delivery team in Prague, working on large-scale enterprise systems in the energy domain. This role offers strong opportunities for professional growth with hands-on experience in enterprise-level architecture, databases, integrations, and long-term delivery processes.

• Create and modify SQL queries
• Write and improve Java and/or JavaScript code
• Participate in troubleshooting and investigation of system issues
• Configure business processes using BPMN
• Support implementation and deployment activities
• Assist in system configuration and environment setup
• Learn the system architecture and business logic to effectively support issue resolution
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders

Experience & Education:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related field
• 1.5-2 years of commercial experience in software development or QA (a plus)
• Experience with web-based systems (an advantage)
• Experience with Oracle database (a plus)
