Senior Python Full-Stack Engineer (Architecture Focus)

Hanna Robulets Company is seeking a Senior Python Full-Stack Engineer to join their product-driven team building a live commercial platform in a high-load environment. This role focuses on backend expertise and system architecture, with responsibility for designing scalable services and contributing to architectural evolution of an actively growing product.

• Design and implement scalable backend services
• Participate in architectural decisions and system design
• Improve system performance and scalability
• Optimize database queries and indexing strategies
• Ensure data consistency across services
• Contribute to distributed system design decisions
• Review code and mentor junior engineers
• Work closely with product and engineering teams
• Contribute to frontend architecture when needed

Must-Have:

• 6+ years of commercial software development experience
• Production-level Python expertise
• Deep experience with Django, FastAPI, or Flask
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experience designing scalable REST APIs
• Expertise in database indexing, query optimization, transactions, and data consistency
• Microservices architecture experience
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts (data consistency, event-driven communication, replication)
• Experience with background processing (Celery, async workers)
• Docker and Git proficiency
• Production-level cloud platform experience (AWS preferred)

Strong Plus:

• Distributed transactions (Saga pattern, eventual consistency)
• Message brokers (Kafka, SQS, SNS, RabbitMQ)
• High-load systems and database scaling
• Observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
• CI/CD pipelines
• React and Next.js experience

Work Arrangement: Fully remote
