Summary
Critical Sports and Entertainment (CSE) is building a national sports platform integrating live events, athlete representation, media production, and league infrastructure across multiple properties. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will partner with the Founder & CEO to lead operational strategy and execution as the company scales nationally through arena-scale events and multi-city touring.
What you'll do
- Design operational frameworks to support multi-property sports ventures and national expansion.
- Build scalable systems for live event touring, multi-market execution, and internal operations.
- Oversee operational execution for fight nights, tournaments, and championships.
- Manage venue coordination, production timelines, and end-to-end event logistics.
- Support operational development of the United Combat League (UCL) franchise system and multi-team league operations.
- Implement workflows, reporting systems, operational standards, and infrastructure for consistent execution.
- Build, manage, and scale teams across operations, event production, and administration; develop leadership structures.
- Support national event expansion planning and long-term operational planning across ventures.
- Establish operational KPIs and reporting frameworks to drive accountability across departments.
Requirements
- Senior operations leadership experience in live event production, sports operations, touring logistics, league operations, event promotion, or entertainment operations.
- Proven ability to scale operational infrastructure across multi-location platforms.
- Strong organizational leadership, operational discipline, and ability to build processes in fast-moving startup environments.
- Experience managing complex sports or live-event ecosystems.
Conditions
- Location: Remote; U.S.-based preferred.
- Compensation: Equity participation plus executive compensation package.
- Pay timing: Base salary to begin following completion of the company’s current capital raise.
- Incentives: Participation in event and property-level revenue streams.
- Expected initial total compensation range: $125,000–$160,000 annually (approx. $10,416–$13,333 per month).
- Growth potential: $250,000+ total compensation as the platform scales nationally.
