Summary
Privy (part of Stripe) builds developer tools that use modern cryptography to make privacy and user ownership the default online. The Recruiter will lead end-to-end hiring across technical and non-technical roles to help build a high-quality team with strong standards and judgment.
What you'll do
Run full-cycle searches end-to-end: define roles with hiring managers, source candidates, manage assessments, and close hires.
Apply strong judgment and “taste” to raise the hiring bar and guide interviewers toward high-signal decisions.
Design and deliver an excellent candidate experience from outreach through offer/close, reflecting the talent brand.
Influence and calibrate leaders on hiring standards and decision-making.
Build recruiting as a product by improving processes, tools, and feedback loops to increase speed without sacrificing quality.
Requirements
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (in-house strongly preferred).
Experience partnering with hiring teams as an effective hiring partner and trusted advisor.
High agency and comfort with ambiguity; able to operate autonomously with significant responsibility.
Proven ability to attract passive candidates and build diverse pipelines.
Data-driven problem solving; ability to analyze trends and improve recruiting efficiency.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated high judgment about people and roles; ability to separate signal from noise.
Comfort operating with urgency in fast-moving environments.
Conditions
In-office expectation: typically at least 50% of working time per month in the local office or with users (varies by role, team, and location; some sites/roles require higher attendance).

Compensation is an annual US base salary range of $143,200–$214,800, narrowed during interviews based on experience, qualifications, and location.
