AI Engineering Lead

Developers Shore is seeking an AI Engineering Lead for a high-impact fintech company in Lviv. This hands-on technical leadership role focuses on modernizing engineering practices, implementing AI-driven workflows, and leading a development team to dramatically increase delivery speed and code quality.

• Lead and coach a development team in using AI to increase delivery speed and code quality
• Raise the bar for engineering practices and unblock the team when requirements are unclear
• Help engineers get better at writing code with AI assistance
• Use AI hands-on to build software
• Partner with the CTO on architecture, process, and AI strategy
• Lead 10-20 engineers and mentor them

• Strong experience with AI programming and using AI to develop software and code
• Excellent communication skills to make engineers passionate about AI and clearly communicate requirements
• Strong TypeScript skills and knowledge of distributed systems
• Ability to lead 10-20 engineers and lift others
• Experience with agentic programming
• Cloud-based architecture and CI/CD pipelines expertise
• Knowledge of trunk-based development and frequent releases
• Test-driven and regression-driven development experience
• Experience with monorepo or multi-repo setups
• Financial background or fintech experience is a plus
