Senior Manager, Supply and Procurement
Summary
Farmacy Beauty is a rapidly growing clean skincare brand headquartered in NYC. The Senior Manager, Supply and Procurement leads procurement and production processes to drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strong supplier performance. This role partners cross-functionally to optimize inventory, manage product data in NetSuite, and implement best practices that improve productivity and quality.
What you'll do
- Oversee the full Procure-to-Pay process, including purchase order management, product updates, replenishment, and support for new product development.
- Serve as the main liaison for contract manufacturers (CMs) and suppliers, leading open order calls, business reviews, KPI tracking, and performance accountability.
- Lead monthly production planning for finished goods and components, balancing inventory targets with agility.
- Develop and manage safety stock strategies, component usage, and inventory reconciliation to support continuity and minimize waste.
- Own NetSuite product data accuracy (e.g., Bills of Materials, lead times, product masters) and support MRP-driven planning processes.
- Partner with Demand Planning on product lifecycle planning and scenario analysis.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, R&D, Marketing, and Creative to align timelines, budgets, and priorities for production and packaging initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (CM efficiency, strategic sourcing, packaging updates) to reduce costs and improve operational performance while maintaining quality standards.
- Lead ad-hoc analyses and cross-functional strategic projects that support top-line growth and bottom-line improvements.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering accountability and a continuous improvement culture.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in purchasing, production, or supply chain management.
Proven success in a corporate or matrixed environment with strong collaboration and stakeholder alignment skills.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a track record of cost savings and optimizing supplier relationships.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency with NetSuite ERP and supply chain software.
Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional and global manufacturing environments.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
Professional certifications such as CPSM or APICS CPIM preferred but not required.
Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship; immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
Conditions
Full-time, exempt.
Location: in-person 2 days per week; Flatiron District.
PTO: 15 days PTO plus 5 sick/personal days per year; 16 annual company holidays.
