Lead Business Analyst with Data Projects Experience IRC291946

GlobalLogic is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to serve as the vital link between business stakeholders and technical engineering teams on a Data Platform project. In this role, you will translate high-level business goals into actionable requirements that shape the development of analytics dashboards, ensuring the final product delivers meaningful insights to the business.

• Lead workshops and interviews with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements
• Translate business needs into clear user stories and functional specifications for data engineers and BI developers
• Create source-to-target mapping documents and use SQL to explore source data and validate business rules
• Work closely with BI Developer to design intuitive and effective Tableau dashboards addressing business questions
• Act as primary communication bridge ensuring shared understanding between all project members and stakeholders
• Collaborate with Architect on defining solution architecture and specifications
• Support PM/Scrum Master with Sprints and PIs planning

Required Skills:

• Business Process Analysis: Proven experience analyzing and documenting complex business processes
• Requirements Engineering: Strong skills in writing clear user stories and requirements documents
• Data Literacy: Good understanding of database concepts, schemas, and data relationships
• SQL: Basic to intermediate SQL skills for data exploration and validation
• BI Knowledge: Familiarity with Business Intelligence concepts and experience on BI or data warehousing projects
• Tableau Experience: Ability to build proof-of-concept reports and perform data exploration in Tableau
