QA Automation Engineer (JS) EnX

Softwarium is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with JavaScript expertise for a full-time remote position. The role focuses on developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks for a data processing and visualization product in the oil industry serving a Norwegian customer.

• Support and extend the existing UI and API automation framework using WebdriverIO, TypeScript, and Jasmine
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure Releases across 10 environments
• Prepare and present weekly status reports to stakeholders
• Troubleshoot software and system issues, identifying root causes of test failures
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced technical environment

• 4+ years of full-time experience in test automation
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript-based automation frameworks (WebdriverIO, Cypress, Playwright)
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps pipelines
• Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail or Testiny.io
• Ability to troubleshoot software/system issues and identify root causes of failures
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English level (spoken and written)
• Ability to adapt to challenges and continuously improve processes
