Developer for JetBrains IDE Integration

Hyperskill is an educational platform offering real computer science skills through practice-based learning. This role involves maintaining and improving a JetBrains IDE integration plugin that allows learners to solve coding tasks directly in their development environment.

• Maintain and improve an existing JetBrains IDE plugin
• Fix bugs and issues reported by users and the support team
• Keep the plugin compatible with new JetBrains IDE versions
• Improve stability, usability, and overall developer experience
• Implement new features and improvements

• Experience with Kotlin or Java and readiness to work with the Kotlin stack
• Extensive AI and vibe coding experience to navigate through the IntelliJ Plugin SDK
• Comfortable working independently without very detailed technical specification
• Nice to have: Experience with JetBrains Platform SDK or developing JetBrains IDE plugins (commercial or personal)
