Information Security Engineer

Eqvilent is seeking an Information Security Engineer to design and manage secure network configurations across server infrastructure, public cloud, and containerized environments. The role involves maintaining security tools, performing security validation, and supporting IT staff with hardening guidance.

• Design and manage implementation of secure network configurations for server infrastructure, public cloud and containerized environments
• Maintain current security tools and manage the implementation and integration of new ones
• Perform security validation and implement hardening process across various systems
• Provide IT-staff with all necessary support and guidance on secure hardening practices

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, etc.) and familiarity with threat detection/prevention techniques
• Practical experience in securing network infrastructure and configurations (firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, etc.)
• Expertise in hardening of operating systems and network services across different platforms (Windows, Linux, MacOS)
• Practical experience securing containerized environments and orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Practical experience securing public clouds
• Experience in implementing, maintaining and configuring security tools (EDR, VM, MDM, PAM systems, etc.)
• Proficient in scripting and automation (Python, Bash)
• Nice-to-have: Zero Trust architecture, network penetration testing, infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform)
